My name is Oliver, and I’m an artist living in Santa Cruz. I mostly work in acrylics and watercolors. I have recently incorporated more digital art into my work. I make whimsical, fantastical pantings and drawings using intense color palettes. My inspiration comes mostly from nature and cartoons. I love botanical art and being in green-space, and I have a deep appreciation for animated films and shows. I will one hundred percent sit through a show with a terrible plot if I find the art style appealing. I make art simply because it’s a compulsion. Making art for me doesn’t always bring me joy, however I do find the process often satisfying.
